It was a pleasure working with Issa Rae and long time collaborator Nick Bouier. The final spot wasn’t cut as we had originally envisioned it but we shot the whole thing as a single continuous take starting in front of a green screen where Issa would open a door into a living room. Then from the living room Issa steps through a large mirror into a polling place.
